While the collection and use of SUE (Subsurface Utility Engineering) data is critical to the design element of any project, it may be only the first step in a longer range strategy for utility owners and public agencies. We will provide engineers the SUE data and ensure its transfer to design engineers for the development of more accurate PS&E's.
- The accurate designation of underground utilities is essential to successfully working in the subsurface structure. Our surveys will save you time, money and enhance the safety of your project.
- AEI’s S.U.E. Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) information. services can aid the engineering design process by researching, designating, and locating subsurface utilities as dictated by scope.
- By implementing our subsurface investigation strategy, clients will be provided with the S.U.E. QLB documentation, a paper blueprint and digital format of choice, clearly showing surveyed locations of existing surface and subsurface utilities within their project limits.
- Applying geophysical techniques to S.U.E. process
AEI will designate existing utilities, structures, and survey the proposed work area. The survey plans will depict existing surface and subsurface utilities as identified in the field by AEI Corp. Any infrastructure found will be survey marked to its horizontal position. Marking the locations horizontally on surface with flagging in soil areas or chalk or water based paint on paved areas. Upon completion of the project, a scalable blueprint along with a digital format of choice will be developed referring to the compilation of data collected; showing all existing utilities, structures and appurtenances designated by AEI's investigation.
